A porcelain rooftop patio, built to drain, stay bonded, and handle freeze-thaw.

RSG-10 with porcelain.

This rooftop patio in Oakville, Ontario paired Porcea Stone porcelain with the ROMEX RSG-10 system to create a fully bonded, permeable terrace backed by a 10-year warranty.

The system was designed to solve the challenges that come with rooftop porcelain, including drainage, stability, wind lift, freeze-thaw conditions, and long-term performance.

ROMEX TRASS BED created the lightweight, permeable bedding layer.

ROMEX ADHESION ELUTRIANT bonded the porcelain securely to the bedding.

ROMEX ECOFINE locked the joints while still allowing water to drain through the surface.

The result is a clean, modern rooftop gathering space that combines premium porcelain with a high-performance ROMEX installation system.

Porcelain & natural stone built to last:

Porcelain and natural stone deliver a clean, premium finish, but outdoors, the system underneath matters just as much as the surface.

For this backyard patio, the crew installed the pavers on ROMEX TRASS BED to create a solid, load-bearing, permeable foundation.

The joints were finished with ROMEX ECOFINE, a resin jointing mortar that cures hard, drains water, resists weeds and ants, and can be pressure-washed once cured.

The result is a patio built for freeze-thaw performance, long-term stability, and proper drainage, backed by a 10-year warranty.
