Looking for your next career move?⚡We're seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our Electrical Service team and help deliver local projects throughout Nanaimo and the Mid-Island.

In this role, you'll work closely with existing and potential clients to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and manage projects and work orders from estimate to completion. You'll leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to manage project financials, review contracts, mitigate project risks, and ensure projects are delivered safely and meet customer expectations.

Today, September 30th, we observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR) and Orange Shirt Day. It is a day to honour the Survivors of Canada’s residential school system, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impacts these institutions continue to have on families and communities.

This day is not only one of remembrance and reflection, but also a call to action. We encourage everyone to learn, attend events, wear orange, and support Indigenous causes and communities. Together, we can support the journey toward reconciliation.

🚧 We're proud to be contributing to the Thompson Rivers University (TRU) Indigenous Centre, a landmark project currently under construction at the TRU Kamloops campus.

Designed to foster connection, learning, and support for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students, the 14,700-square-foot facility will provide a welcoming space that honours Indigenous culture and community.

Inspired by traditional summer house structures of the Secwépemc Peoples, the three-storey mass timber will serve as a spiritual, cultural, and educational hub for students, Elders, and the broader community.

For this impactful project, we’re proud to be providing several electrical and technology solutions, including electrical distribution, lighting and lighting control, fire alarm, structured cabling, and security.

Since breaking ground in late 2025, construction has progressed steadily as the building continues to take shape. With much of the structural and steel work complete and the mass timber roof structure now installed, our teams are advancing electrical and technology rough-ins throughout the facility. The project is anticipated to reach substantial completion in December 2026.

We're honoured to play a role in creating a space that supports reconciliation, cultural connection, and learning for the TRU community and beyond.
