ASTRA ROSE CREAM SUNFLOWER 🌻

I knew I’d love her, but you guyyyyys! I feel like this is my long lost soul sister.

This sunflower is so special and NEEDS to be appreciated in real life.

She’s a branching variety with very thin petals that bounce between buttercream and shades of apricot + pink as they mature.

I think my favourite part is the inner ring of tiny fairy hairs surrounding the chocolate toned center 🥹

She’s got all the vintage, antique, slightly dusty vibes that I’m obsessed with.

She’s definitely the highlight of my summer.

Rudbeckia (Black Eyed Susan’s) will forever hold a special place in my heart. There’s just something about them for me.

Maybe it’s the yellow, maybe it’s the way they make me wait all season for them. Maybe it’s because they’re not really considered trendy or cool.

Maybe it’s just because they’re sure of who they are. They’re a classic, and you can never go wrong with a classic.

💐 BURNS LAKE FARMERS MARKET 💐

You guyyyys! I hate even typing this, but this week *could* be the last market 😳 The weather is looking spicy (read:cold) this coming week!

So before the season ends, I wanted to fit in a Build Your Own Bouquet day, so tomorrow we are doing it!

The kids have had their chance this summer and now it’s time for the adults!

It’s gonna be fun!
