When outside temps reach -45, text notifications from clients always make me nervous. 🥶

In all seriousness, it’s a good time to reshare my annual Extreme Cold Winter Warning for your home:

❄️ ensure there is no ice blocking the air intake or exhaust for your high-efficient furnace or hot water heater
❄️ keep your thermostat at a consistent temperature
❄️ check your pipes in your home and ensure there is warm airflow around them, especially if on an exterior wall or un-insulated space
❄️ open cabinet doors that have plumbing inside for airflow
❄️ leave your faucets running with a slow drip, if needed

I’ve seen far too many poor installs by plumbers in my day that demonstrate a lack of planning, poor use of space and many with code violations.
