Position: Contract - Guaranteed Hours
Why Us?
If you're looking for winter work, there are going to be a lot of similar ads out there for you. We are a small, family-run company, and we hire genuine people with good work ethics to represent us. When you do snow removal for us, you will have your own route, which will stay consistent for the winter season. You will be responsible for keeping it clear and making sure the clients are happy with your work. We offer you the opportunity to work independently; taking control of your day and the quality that you leave behind. On days with extremely heavy snow, we will provide additional help for you to complete your route.
What We Need From You
A truck, a strong back, and consistency. We require our employees to have their own 4x4 truck or SUV to use for the snow route. We also need you to be in good shape, as there are long days of shovelling ahead. You also have to be able to show up, all the time. Even when it's cold out. You will also need a smart phone with a consistently active data plan. We use an app for tracking time sheets and routes to help your day run smoothly.
What We Give You
We pay between $18-$20/hour, depending on experience, ability, and competency. We guarantee 125 hours every month, so you can be assured of income even if it doesn't snow. We pay an additional $200 for your vehicle usage, and all fuel costs as well.
