Sometimes we're completely shocked by what we find in peoples' homes! A new homeowner called us after purchasing a fantastic property. The previous owners had done a room expansion and had to run some of their electrical up into the attic. An inspection conducted by our team revealed way too many code violations to count! We can't believe someone wired their room's electrical systems like this in the first place! Needless to say, we're heading back this week to fix everything for the homeowner and ensure everything is up to code!

Did you just get a hot tub, or are you thinking about getting one? Hot tub companies won't install the electrical for your hot tub, but RENWD Electrical does! We can wire the hot tub through your breaker panel and can install an outdoor shut-off box so you can turn your hot tub on and off from the outside panel. Just let us know when you're expecting delivery and we can arrange to be there to install the electrical systems. Our team was called out to a service call where the customer was stating that some of their power outlets were working and others weren't. This is something we deal with daily, and the issue can vary depending on the home.
We started by removing plugs from the wall to test and see the wiring methods used by the installers. The photo on the left has a green and amber light, meaning the outlet has reversed polarity. The second picture shows the white wires attached to the gold screws, when in fact they should be the black wires. The moral of the story is; the outlet was wired backwards, causing all the outlets downstream to be affected. By reversing the wires, the outlets worked again and everything worked as normal.

When we arrive at a jobsite, we often find the electrical system in a bit of a state if disarray. We were called to do a series of jobs by a valued client of ours and came across the breaker panel in a fairly disorganized state. Building a new garage? We recently installed lighting and electrical outlets in this one. Weather you're renovating or building, we can help you with your attached or detached garage electrical solutions!

This project involved a complete garage service and wood shop rough-in with 30-amp equipment plugs for wood lathes, planers, table saws etc. We also installed a 60-amp subpanel in the garage to distribute power throughout accordingly. We finished off with some 8-ft slim surface mount LEDs!
