Hi, I’m Emmylou. Owner, grower, harvester, presser and all of the in between. I run this little flower farm from the gardens in my yard in Calgary and have been operating since 2021. Growing all things edible flowers and also focusing on regenerative and drought tolerant in my yard. I have a deep love of English gardens, watching British gardening television and learning all I can about growing. I’ll be taking my Master Gardener program this fall and look forward to broadening my offerings.

Sending out a big wholesale order today! All pansies were grown from seed (lots of my saved seeds too!) and harvested and pressed by me. 5,000 from this season. Love seeing the full collection of colours! ✨ lots of smaller sets available!

Listen, I love bumble bee’s but sometimes they are so stinking big it freaks even me out.

This big mama is a B. nevadensis and large bodied but dang, she was big.

New Year, new goals! Last year was an interesting year to say the least and had a profound impact on my business. I sold the majority of my flowers to my American flower friends and customers and it’s been a big adjustment not having that ability.

So on that note, my goal this year is to grow for the bees and grow for joy and take care of my Canadian customers who have been so lovely and loyal. I’ve also for the first time opened shipping to Europe and the UK!

My first offering for the year is larger packs of pansies (my well documented favourite) at a price that may be enticing to both bakers and crafters alike!

I will continue to offer pressed seasonal varieties but scaled down to account for the changes. Lots of fresh flowers locally as well in the warmer months!
