🌳 Tree Care in Langdon, AB 🌳
Our team recently completed pruning on three large poplar trees in Langdon. The work focused on removing deadwood and reducing over-extended branches to help lower the risk of storm-related damage.

The client had experienced a few branch failures in the past and wanted to ensure their property stayed safe heading into the winter season. By addressing structural concerns now, we’re helping extend the health of the trees and providing peace of mind for the future.

Another great example of proactive maintenance keeping properties beautiful, safe, and resilient.

LE Landscapes, a division of LE Construction & Maintenance, recently completed a full playground construction project for a new daycare tenant at 601 17 Ave SW.

Working within a tight urban footprint came with its own challenges — restricted access, busy pedestrian corridors, and the need to coordinate effectively with neighboring businesses. Despite that, our in-house teams delivered a thoughtfully designed play space tailored for young children.

The project included several key components, each installed by our own crews:

- Retaining wall installation to define and support the play area
- Concrete walkway installation for clear and durable access
- Asphalt installation to complete surrounding surface grades
- Fencing installation to secure the perimeter
- Artificial turf installation to create a clean, soft, low-maintenance play surface

From design to final construction, every detail was managed in-house to ensure quality, functionality, and a well-executed final result — all within the constraints of an urban site.

Year-Round Impact: How Our Water Trucks Keep Operations Flowing

At LE Construction & Maintenance, we create our own compost in-house — a sustainable way to recycle organic material from our projects for use on future clients sites, increasing our diversion from the landfill.

Our team recently completed watering the compost piles to keep the decomposition process moving efficiently and support healthy microbial growth. This in-house initiative helps us close the loop on waste and contribute to greener, more resilient properties for our clients.

Our water trucks stay busy year-round — supporting compost management, assisting with construction projects, and providing essential watering for plantings on client sites. Even our paving team utilizes the water trucks on their larger projects! It’s all part of how we keep operations flowing smoothly across every season.

Our LE Irrigation team recently completed a full irrigation installation before the cold weather settles in. Getting this project wrapped up now means the system will be ready to go first thing in spring — no delays, no downtime.

LE's paving crew was out in full force getting this parking lot repair done for a client ahead of the Thanksgiving break. During excavation the crew discovered the last contractor had paved over roots and topsoil, condemning the parking lot from day one. The organic material was removed and a proper structure installed and regraded ahead of the new pavement going down.

Quick fix from our LE Irrigation team!

Our in-house irrigation specialists were called out to repair a main line break after a roadside billboard installation punctured the system. After locating the source of the leak, our team performed the repair and had the irrigation system back up and running in no time.
