For my fellow AC nerds out there, isn't this a thing of beauty?
For the homeowners, when installing, servicing, and commissioning an air conditioner it is important for us technicians to remember something - that there should only be two things inside the piping of an air conditioner, 1) Refrigerant 2) Compressor oil. Anything that's not those two things, such as moisture can damage your AC over time. We as technicians and installers remove that moisture by creating a vacuum, which we measure. The industry standard target measurement for this vacuum is 500 (measured in microns, an incredibly small unit of pressure) at Manus we target 50 when installing/commissioning a new air conditioner/heat pump. This is 10x lower, and exponentially less moisture to the point the level of moisture inside your air-conditioners pipes (also referred to as "lineset") is similar to the vacuum of space... That is to say, it is VERY dry.
This in turn leaves you with the peace of mind your new air conditioner can work without issue for years to come.
Trust Manus Mechanical Heating & Cooling with your new air conditioner or heat pump install, and see the difference having a real AC mechanic, not just a technician, can make.
