RE-THINK RE-CYCLING. Cities like Philadelphia increasingly pay more and more to process recyclables.

Here is a simple case for "RE-USE": Since recycling costs are going up, we can all take a harder look at reusing products and materials. Two tips:

#1:Start with something as simple as a canister for drinking...rather than buying single-use plastic bottles.

#2: Throw some tote bags in your car (or bike basket), so that when you go to the grocery store, you don't need to add paper or plastic into the waste stream.

Both of these examples are about reusing materials rather than recycling.
