A custom tri-colour subway tile feature wall brought this kitchen coffee nook to life. While the main kitchen features a full-height stone backsplash matching the counters, bringing tile into this accent alcove adds the perfect contrast and personality to make the space pop.

This project was part of a small addition that brought a huge upgrade in functionality and finish throughout:

• Heating & Comfort: Installed DITRA-HEAT throughout the walkway to keep the space warm and comfortable through Alberta’s coldest months.

• Stair Details: Tiled the stairs using Schluter-TREP stair-nosing with a colour-matched, slip-resistant thermoplastic rubber tread for clean edges, added grip, and lasting protection.

• Main Flooring: Laid sleek 12x24 tile across the floor to create a seamless, durable transition from the entryway right into the new addition.

Wrapped up two custom shower builds out in BC recently. Same region, two completely different vibes. 🏔️

Invermere: Earthy grey wall tile, dark grid shower floor, dual custom niches, and chrome hardware. Sleek, grounded, and modern.

Columbia Lake: Bright marble-look large format tile with matching mosaic on the floor and a fluted niche accent, all designed to make the most of that natural transom light. Classic and super bright.

Both turned out awesome, but I’m curious, which setup are you picking for your own home? Are you going with the dark modern feel of Invermere or the bright classic marble of Columbia Lake?

A statement ensuite, built around the details.

This expansive shower features 24x48 tile carried from floor to ceiling, including the ceiling and bulkhead for a seamless, fully enveloped finish. Custom picture-frame detailing and an envelope-cut base bring precision to the design, while matching 24x48 wainscoting behind the soaker tub ties the entire space together.

Built with Schluter-KERDI-BOARD, a custom sloped and shaped base by Built With Foam, and DITRA-HEAT throughout the floor for an added touch of everyday luxury.

Large-format tile. Clean lines. Thoughtful details. Built to last.

One of the perks of living right down the road from your job site. 🔨

Wrapped up this kitchen backsplash in a single afternoon—grout, silicone, and full cleanup done before the end of the day.

Curb-less. Clean. Custom. 📐🚿

There is nothing quite like the seamless look of a zero-threshold, walk-in shower.
For this modern bathroom, the grid lines flow continuously from the main floor, straight through the linear drain, and right up the walls and ceiling for a flawless, high-end finish.

🛠️ Behind the Tile
True durability is all in the prep. This entire build is backed by a full Schluter Systems setup:

Ditra-Heat for absolute comfort underfoot.
Kerdi-Board with foam shims for perfectly flat, waterproof walls.

A full-length Linear Drain at the entry to make that sleek, curb-less transition possible.

Check out the texture and movement on that stunning stone-look porcelain!

Clean lines and a little extra attention to detail!

This basement dry bar features 24x24 Harley series tile from Julian Tile, creating a sleek modern backdrop for the space.

Because of the wall protrusion on the left side, we added a Schluter Quadec profile with an outside corner cap to keep the edges clean and intentional rather than forcing awkward cuts.

Small details like that make a big difference in the finished product.

Simple design, clean lines, and a little extra love in the layout.

A fireplace is more than just a wall; it’s the structural anchor of your space.

We turned this area into a true focal point using custom large-format porcelain slabs. It takes a lot of patience to get those seams perfect, but the final result is always worth the effort!

The Process:

1. Precision on-site: On-site cutting and polishing for a custom fit.

2. Surface Prep: Deep cleaning and prepping for a maximum bond.

3. The Install: Using Grabo tools to set these massive LFT panels.

4. Solid Contact: Running a vibration tool over the entire mortared area to ensure 100% coverage.

5. The Finish: Precision-cutting the firebox once the mortar cures.

Note: The fireplace crew will be back to fit a custom flat black fl**ge around the firebox opening to complete the look.

Clean, seamless, and built to last.

Booking for Spring/Summer 2026. I am currently taking on custom fireplace and stone projects in Calgary, Cochrane, and Harmony.
