Meet Jay, our newest Helper/Apprentice who joined us this April.

What stands out most about working here?

“The team is very welcoming, and there are always opportunities to learn. Breck and the leads do a great job of helping us develop our skills, and everyone takes pride in delivering honest, quality work.”

Spring cleaning season at Hunter’s Heating means the vans get the same attention we give your home.

Breck’s tip: Summer is coming and your AC needs a little love before you fire it up.

Here is how to get it ready:
Step 1: Remove the winter cover. Simple first step but an important one.
Step 2: Rinse off the condenser. The condenser is the outdoor unit. Over the winter it collects dirt and debris that restricts airflow. Give it a good rinse to clean the coils and let it breathe again.
Step 3: Check the breaker inside. Your AC has its own breaker and it may have been switched off over the winter. Make sure it is on before you expect anything to happen.
Step 4: Check your air filter before you turn it on. Your AC moves a lot more air than your furnace did all winter and it needs a clean path to do its job. A dirty filter restricts airflow and makes your system work harder than it needs to. Swap it out if it needs it.

Do these things before you hit that button and your AC will thank you all summer long. Questions? Give us a shout.
