The mechanical room at the Maillot Home is the true brain of the operation.
This custom system features three Gradient Thermal SyncFurnace boilers handling both forced air heating and full hydronic systems throughout the home. Using the HBX 600 Series control system, the boilers fully modulate and communicate together to maximize efficiency — automatically determining when to run individually or together based on demand.
The entire system is WiFi-enabled, allowing full control of heating zones directly from the app, thermostats, or mechanical room controls.
This 200+ gallon hydronic heating system powers:
• 80-gallon domestic hot water storage
• Full perimeter snow melt system (front, back, and side of the property)
• Basement and garage in-floor heat
• Individual room zone control with cone actuators
• Hydronic towel warmer
The domestic water system was designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind. We installed a clean copper ProPress water tree setup paired with a 3-stage salt-free filtration and softener system. The system filters and softens the water without requiring salt, while still providing potable drinking water throughout the home.
For added protection and smart monitoring, the home is also equipped with a Moen Smart Water Control system on the main water service entering the house.
