If you’re concerned about the foundation cracks leaking again, we can repair them with a more permanent waterproofing solution.
While the crack injections plug the foundation cracks from the inside, they can fail to address the exterior issues that might be the cause of the foundation leak in the first place; or if the crack is obstructed by paneling or drywall, we can address the problem from the exterior. Exterior foundation crack repair done properly can рrеvеnt further fоundаtіоn damage caused by water.
The goal with this method is to block water from ever making its way inside in the first place. This can include coating the exterior wall or crack with a premium grade epoxy.
In order to properly seal a crack, the earth must be removed along the wall exposing the crack. After the crack has been exposed, cleaned and dried, an epoxy gel surface seal is applied which will cure the presence of moisture.
A French Drain also provides a basement waterproofing solution. This is ideal for basements that admit water through the foundation. In these “wet” basements, water presses against the foundation and gradually leaks through.
