Our leadership team recently gathered in Jasper for our biennial Managers’ Conference, an opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together as leaders.

We were honoured to hear from two remarkable speakers who left a lasting impression on our team.

First, we heard from Richard Ireland, Mayor of Jasper, who shared firsthand insights from the devastating wildfire that impacted the community. Through powerful stories and images, he spoke about resilience, the importance of fire-safing your property to help reduce fire risk, and the need to have an emergency plan in place while also reviewing and confirming your insurance coverage before disaster strikes. His perspective was both sobering and inspiring.

If you're planning a getaway this summer, we encourage you to consider visiting Jasper. Supporting local businesses and tourism is one meaningful way to contribute to the community's ongoing recovery.

We also had the privilege of hearing from Saskatchewan-born Alvin Law, an internationally recognized keynote speaker, Emmy Award winner, Hall of Fame inductee, world-class musician, and best-selling author. Alvin's message challenged us to rethink how we view change, inclusion, and human potential. His energy, humour, and perspective left our team inspired long after he left the stage.

A sincere thank you to both speakers for sharing your experiences, lessons, and wisdom with our team. The best leaders never stop learning.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝?

After more than 𝟐𝟐 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, this year we say farewell to someone who has left an incredible mark on Strike Group.

Congratulations to 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐎𝐱𝐧𝐞𝐫 on her well-earned retirement.

As Manager of Field Support Services, Holly has been one of the people who helped build Strike into the company it is today. Her impact reaches far beyond projects or processes. It lives in the relationships she built, the people she supported, and the culture she helped create.

Anyone who has worked with Holly knows she has a remarkable gift for making people feel valued. Whether she was surprising the shop and field crews with cupcakes and treats, taking the time to truly listen, celebrating life's milestones, writing thoughtful handwritten thank-you notes, or finding creative ways to bring beauty to our workspaces, Holly consistently reminded people that they mattered.

Her legacy isn't measured only by the work she accomplished, but by the countless lives she touched along the way. She helped shape not only our business, but also the heart of our organization.

As Holly begins this exciting new chapter, we're reminded of the importance of investing in the next generation of leaders who will carry forward the culture, values, and people-first approach she exemplified throughout her career.

From everyone at Strike Group, thank you, Holly. We wish you every happiness in your retirement. You have certainly earned it. ❤️

There is something powerful about bringing people together.

Our leaders recently gathered for Strike Group's 2026 Managers Conference. It was an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from across our organization, share ideas, strengthen relationships, and align on where we're headed next.

This year's conference was especially meaningful, as we intentionally chose Jasper as our location in order to support the local community as it continues to recover from the devastating wildfires. Supporting communities is one of Strike Group's core values, and we were proud to contribute in a small way while experiencing the incredible resilience and hospitality of Jasper.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped to make this conference such a success. The conversations, collaboration, and connections built over these days will continue to strengthen our teams as we move into the next chapter of Strike Group's journey.

Here's to learning, growing, and building the future together.
