Read this if you have “Boring front yard syndrome”
This client really wanted a space that was unique, low maintenance, and avoided any possibility of mulch wandering around his property.
Here are the six steps we took:
1. Proper base excavation. We’re never those guys that just drop stuff in place without planning. This space needed excavation, proper compaction, a little irrigation too.
2. Careful grading + rock = a yard that handles water properly, never risking water pooling near the house.
3. Our client really didn’t want mulch spilling around his yard and driveway. 2” crushed granite keeps things low maintenance and wandering-mulch free.
4. We like big rocks and we cannot lie. These boulders majorly upgrade the yard and give texture and variety.
5. Proper plant spacing means this yard is guaranteed to look better every single year. See, doing this right is like Botox for your yard.😂
6. The surrounding concrete provides an organized frame. Clean line make for easier (and less) mowing. Let’s keep your Saturday open for golf, hey?
