☀️ Summer field safety check-in!

Hot days can hit hard when you’re working outdoors. A few basics go a long way:
💧 Drink water regularly (don’t wait until you feel thirsty)
🌳 Take cool-down breaks in shade/AC when possible
🧢 Light, loose clothing + hat + UV eyewear
🧴 Sunscreen: broad-spectrum SPF 30+ and reapply at least every 2 hours (more if sweating)

Know the warning signs (dizziness, headache, nausea, confusion) and look out for each other — heat stroke is a medical emergency.

🦖 When your site visit includes a T‑Rex…

Our team was out in Drumheller getting the job done—and picked up a pretty big supervisor along the way.

No complaints though… he seemed pretty impressed with the equipment 😄

Only in Alberta… 🌦️

Within a matter of days, our crews went from:
➡️ Mud-covered trails and ATV access
➡️ To digging down through feet of fresh snow in the north
➡️ To keeping an eye out for bears waking up for the season

It’s a good snapshot of what spring field work can look like across the province—unpredictable, a little messy, and always something new.

Big thanks to our teams for rolling with whatever conditions come their way and keeping safety front of mind in every environment.

We’re excited to be sponsoring the CRDAC/Conklin Métis Invitational Golf Tournament this year! ⛳

The tournament takes place May 27 at the Lac La Biche Golf Course & Country Club, bringing together local organizations and community partners for a great day of golf in support of a meaningful cause.

All funds raised go toward employment, training, and post-secondary student support, helping create opportunities within the Conklin Métis community.
