It blows my mind to see houses in this condition. This is obviously hail related damage from a long time ago. I would be willing to bet that this homeowner has taken an insurance payout and obviously not done any of the repairs. In this area of the city, this seems to be common practice. And likely a contributing factor as to why the rest of the city continually as increases in their insurance premiums. It would be nice if these insurance companies or the bank who’s requiring you to have insurance on your home did an annual inspection. As this should be considered insurance fraud. It’s probably a guarantee at this point with a home left open and exposed like that for so long there’s going to be rotten wood and mould within that home for sure. The entire front of this house needs all new windows door roof siding easily $30,000 and that’s before factoring in if there’s mould or rotting plywood and framing. Insanity.
