🚪 When the architect says, "Let's make the entrance stand out." 😎

Not every commercial entrance has to be black-on-black with the same finish we've seen a thousand times.

This project at the Rimrock Hotel in Banff is a great example of an architect getting a little more adventurous—mixing warm and cool tones, combining textures, and creating an entrance that's both modern and timeless. We love seeing designs that break away from the ordinary. ❤️‍🔥

Our role? We installed the dormakaba ED100 & ED250 automatic door operators and accessories to make sure these beautiful entrances are just as functional as they are eye-catching.

Because the best automatic doors don't steal the show... they quietly do their job while everyone admires the entrance. 😉

🚪 Trying something new is part of growing. 💗

This project gave us our first opportunity to supply and install Omega automatic door operators.

These operators were specified by the design team, and instead of trying to change the specification, we embraced the challenge and added another brand to our toolbox. 💪

One thing we've always been proud of at Limitless is that we're not tied to just one manufacturer. Our job is to install the right product for the application and make sure it performs exactly the way it's supposed to.

Going into this project, we weren't sure what to expect.

The surprise?

These operators were actually very straightforward to install, easy to program, and so far they've been performing exactly as they should. 👌

Every new system teaches us something, and every new challenge makes us a better team.

Here's to adding another automatic door operator to the list. 🍻🚪♿

🚪 Now you see them... now you don't. 😎

This is our first installation of oversized Record 5100 Series bi-parting automatic sliding doors that pocket completely into the walls.

When they're fully open... the glass panels disappear. 🤯

It's the closest thing we've installed to something straight out of Star Trek. 🖖

Believe it or not, these doors were more challenging to install than most of our revolving doors. Every detail had to be planned—from oversized door panels and tight tolerances to a custom-engineered service access area built into the walls so the sliders can be maintained for decades to come.

That's the part most people never see.

Automatic doors aren't just about making an entrance open. The best ones are designed so they'll still be opening smoothly 20 years from now.

For this entrance, we supplied and installed a Horton 4100 Series heavy-duty automatic door operator, complete with a custom polished stainless steel cladding to perfectly match the building's existing finishes.

The result? A smooth, reliable entrance that looks like it was always meant to be there. ✨👌

Projects like this remind us just how far we've come. 🥹

This is one of six all-glass Dormakaba revolving doors we're installing at Suncor Energy Centre in Calgary. While it may look simple, it was easily one of the most intricate and demanding revolving doors our team has taken on. With so little framing, every adjustment had to be absolutely perfect. It challenged us every step of the way... and we loved every minute of it. 💪

Seeing it complete is something we're incredibly proud of. 💙

More importantly, moments like this don't happen without the incredible people around us.

To our amazing crew—thank you for your dedication, craftsmanship, and for always pushing through every challenge. You make projects like this possible every single day. 👏

We recently wrapped up this beautiful project at William Hawrelak Park in Edmonton, where we supplied and installed (4) LCN 4642 automatic door operators, actuators, stainless steel bollards, door sequencers, and all the accessories to bring these entrances to life.

Now here's what makes this one so unique... 👀

The architect designed these custom stainless steel "portals" around each entrance. So, the operators are completely hidden inside the portal! 😎👌 The only thing visible is a small opening where the operator spindle comes through to connect to the arm.

Sounds simple... but it definitely wasn't! 😂

Because of the massive backset created by the portal, standard arms weren't even close. XL arms? Nope. We had to step it up to XXL arms to reach the doors and keep everything operating perfectly. 💥

The end result? A super clean, modern look where the automatic operators practically disappear into the architecture while still delivering full accessibility. ♿✨

This is exactly why we love what we do. Every project has its own challenges, and sometimes the coolest installs are the ones that make you think outside the box! 🛠️💙

🎮🔥 Summer Team Building 2026 = SUCCESS! 🔥🎮

What. A. Day. 👏

We traded job sites for joysticks, work boots for arcade games, and spreadsheets for some seriously competitive bragging rights. 😎🏁

From racing games and pinball battles to pool, laughs, and way too much friendly trash talk… our team absolutely brought it. 💥

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Limitless event without our signature swag bags 🎁, cash prizes 💰, mystery awards 🏆, and staff-voted categories that had everyone wondering, “Wait… who won THAT one?!” 😂

A huge shoutout to our Edmonton crew for making the drive down to spend the day with us. Having both offices together made the event even better! ❤️

At the end of the day, it’s never really about who finished 1st (although some people may disagree 🤣)… it’s about building relationships, creating memories, and having a team that genuinely enjoys spending time together.

This new commercial storefront in Belvedere is taking shape with Metro Glass Products' thermally broken HP2020 curtain wall system, medium stile doors, Horton automatic entry, sidelites, and a transom that helps flood the space with loads of natural light. ☀️
