Well another week has passed. We screwed the mainfloor, and added a layer of 3/8 plywood glued and screwed to firm up the floor. Lower level City inspections all passed so we finished the insulation and will be starting drywall. Windows have arrived so we will be installing those also.

Update on our 1965 project. Our last post was January 13. Mainfloor has been drywalled, taped and knockdown texture was completed yesterday. The lower level is framed. Plumbing, heating, and electrical will all be completed this week. We cored holes through the concrete to vent the new fireplace and bath fan. What a difference it made removing the b-vent that was originally in the kitchen.

Amazing what a professional paint job can do to a dated house. Cabinetry in this house was in great shape, just a little dated. We started this project November 25th and completed it on December 18th just prior to Christmas. Customer very happy with the completed product and the fact we finished on schedule. Well with the Christmas break ending we had to kick it back into gear. All the mechanical inspections passed. Will be removing b-vent this morning. Drywall just loaded on main floor. 56 bags of cement later and the basement floor repairs are complete. Time to start framing.
