There’s some new people here so I thought I should re-introduce myself.
I’m Chelsea, a Master Electrician in Alberta. I entered the trade right out of high school so I have been working in the industry 1/3 of my life. I spent the majority of my career working in Mechanical service servicing commercial buildings, heating and cooling systems, and industrial applications. I have yet to run into something I couldn’t fix.
I wanted to start my own company but was always told I need to find a way to stand out since there are many electrical companies in my area. The simple answer is I am a woman. I built Hera Electric Ltd. with the purpose of providing excellent electrical service but also serving the people who may not feel comfortable with strangers in their homes. Women are a consumer constantly over looked, over charged, spoken over, ignored and dismissed. You deserve to feel safe in your own home while work is being done.
We truly put the power in her hands.
