All done framing up this deck, including the back framing and posts. We’ve started framing the stairs and getting the skirting ready to go. We had to pivot and switch to a flush beam because of some height challenges, but that’s what experience is all about—finding the right solution and keeping the project moving forward.

Deck boards start tomorrow, and we’re one step closer to the final reveal. Stay tuned!

Footings are all poured and the saddles are set! 💪

We’re getting this fence wrapped up while the concrete cures, then it’s on to the new deck tomorrow. Since the deck is under 24 inches high, the Ontario Building Code doesn’t require a permit, allowing us to move forward right away. But whether a permit is required or not, we always build to code and never cut corners. That’s the way. 🔨🏡

Demo is all wrapped up, corner posts are set, and we’ve been busy digging holes for both the fence and the new deck footings. Sonotubes are going in, and it’s been a perfect day to work outside. Tomorrow the real fun begins as we start building and bring this new deck to life. The old one had reached the end of its road, and we’re excited to give this homeowner a safe, beautiful new outdoor space. Stay tuned for the progress! 🔨☀️

Getting those fence boards installed and gates built today. We’re getting close to the finish line before the weekend and will have everything wrapped up early next week. Nothing wrong with working outside in the sun and making these backyards look brand new ☀️🔨

Roof is all done and now it’s time for a brand new board and batten fence around the property 🔨🏡 The neighbours saw the transformation and wanted to join in on the fun too! Out with the old and in with the new. Nothing better than bringing fresh life back to a property and making the whole neighbourhood look better one project at a time. Stay tuned for the final reveal!

Instagram post . Well that’s a wrap — all finished up and just waiting for final inspection. Nothing better than bringing a falling apart porch back to life while still keeping the original craftsmanship and character of the home’s era. The real challenge is making the new work blend seamlessly with the old, and we’re proud of how this one came together. Stay tuned for the final reveal!

Front porch project almost wrapped up! Final touches are going in and this transformation is coming together beautifully. Once the final inspection is complete, the homeowner can get her flowers planted and enjoy the new space just in time for the nice weather. 🌸🔨
