Wow! Anyone who knows me knows that I'm the easiest person to make cry. I can hardly see the letters on the keyboard to type right now. I would like to thank all the wonderful people who have supported me, hired me, worked for me, recommended me, competed with me, laughed with me, cried with me, listened to me, and especially those great people who taught me not just my trade, but to be empathetic with those struggling to make a living. It has been a roller coaster ride of successes and failures. Since 2017 when my good friend, George Kilpatrick saw something in me, that I didn't. I've gained the confidence and courage to create something that before that was just a dream. To work for myself. It's been a struggle eh George? We joke now that he did everything right, but control my money which many of you know can be hard to get out of my fist. But you hung in there year after year with the same confidence and business management you have grown to know well, I could say master. You are an inspiration to me. You took off every winter to do what you do best, ski. In those times I was lost without your morning phone calls and company. Thanks again, your a fu***ng Gem. Sorry about my language but I'm a carpenter and they slip once in awhile. Hope to see you on the slopes in the West. To everyone else thank you for giving me this chapter in my life. I wish the best to you all. Anyone who knows, me knows my mind tends to float and from now on my body goes with it. I love my town, I was born and raised in, but it's time to spread my wings again and I hope you all can do the same. 'Till we meet again.

I would like all to know that I'm relocating my company to Alberta and will be unable to take on your project. I apologize deeply as I have not been up to date with my social media. I have been focusing more on my journey west for the sake of my self and my company. I am also a journeyman scaffolder and due to our energy crisis, have been slower then I would like to say. This winter brought me no phone calls and I feel that is time to relocate. I regret that this is the situation we are finding ourselves in. I have had a few clients contact me about running contracts with them but I think the willingness of some to proceed with their projects is in the air. From what I read this morning (March 26th 2026) in the news it is destined to be a slow year here and with my situation over the past couple years I have made the unfortunate assumption that it is destined to continue for the foreseeable future. Therefore I regret to inform you Deck'M Carpentry Inc. will be unable to survive in this environment. I will be relocated this season to start a venture that was unforeseeable just 6 months ago. I appreciate your contact with us, and in better economies your early contact would have been graciously accepted.
I wish you luck in your coming projects with another company. Again my apologies
