Little gun leather, kinda morning!

This is during a stampede. This rider’s horse has fallen. Could have hit a badger or gopher hole. When he fell it broke his neck and killed the horse. The rider is in the middle of the stampede and he’s trying to save his life. He’s using his pistol to try to separate the cattle to the right or left of him to save his life, and his odds aren’t good. Probably a matter of time till he gets run over but he’s trying to save himself.

Finished up this rough out the other day, with sunflowers on back cantle. Hope it brings some sun our way, the lake is calling. And my girls don’t like fishing in the rain!
