The next few days are shaping up to be some of the hottest and most humid we’ve seen this summer. As always, our team at Accelerated HVAC Co. is working hard to keep up with the increased demand for emergency service calls. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through our schedule; and try to keep up with the demands of broken down heat pumps and air conditioning equipment as well as navigate through our scheduled and time lined install projects.

Here are a few simple tips that may help keep your system running efficiently and avoid an unexpected breakdown:

✅ Replace or clean your air filter if it’s dirty. Restricted airflow is one of the most common causes of cooling issues.

✅ Keep your outdoor unit clear of grass, weeds, leaves, and debris. Give it plenty of room to breathe.

✅ Don’t constantly adjust your thermostat. Set it to a comfortable temperature and let the system do its job.

✅ Keep windows and doors closed to reduce the amount of hot, humid air entering your home, as well as turn off your air exchangers.

✅ If your system freezes up, turn the cooling off and switch the fan to ON for a few hours before calling for service. This can help thaw the coil and may save you a service visit, or speed up the service visit.

A fresh new look for 278 Water Street! 👏✨

With support from the Downtown Summerside Facade Grant, Arsenault Properties recently completed several exterior improvements to the home of Hoss Fish n’ Chips, including:

🎨 A fresh coat of paint
🚪 New glass entrance doors
✨ A brand-new, eye-catching Hoss Fish n’ Chips sign!

These improvements have given the property a clean, welcoming new look and helped refresh this section of Water Street.

It’s great to see the Downtown Summerside Facade Grant helping local property owners improve and refresh downtown buildings.

We’re happy about the successful completion of this 16-Ton Daikin VRV System installation at The Pink Crow Restaurant in downtown Charlottetown.

This project required careful planning, precision installation, and close coordination between multiple trades to ensure everything came together seamlessly. From the rooftop installation to the final commissioning, we’re proud of the finished product and the comfort this system will provide for years to come.
