Destined to clean up messes this week! This customer had us out to price a 200A Service Upgrade for their future Hot Tub, Heat Pumps, EV Charger, Optimus (TeslaBot).

Richard "Dick" MacCallum and me spent the day installing this 400A 3Ph service for a 15000sqft multi-space warehouse. This building is made up of 2 seperate units, so we have yet to install another switch, meter, and the wiring from the meters to the panels!

Sure you've seen a few of these around the neighborhoods!

These boxes house the connections for underground power/ ISP wiring. Wires typically go from a nearby pole to box, box to multiple houses via PVC pipe. Made of HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) they provide safety and durability, but they are expensive!💰💰

This keeps poles to a minimum and provides preferred aesthetic in modern subdivisons. They provide many benefits such as wire protection, organization, and easy maintenance. To keep water out they have strict requirements on installation such as depth, added gravel for drainage, and location. Class is now out🎓🎓

🚨🚨🚨What happens when a carpenter does an electricians job?🛑

These guys added a stud after wiring🙅‍♂️. Points for trying but, FAIL! Ideally wire is drilled out center of the stud. Here since it was notched and not back more then 1.25" it needed a metal plate added to protect from nails and screws. However I didn't trust time wouldn't cause that to pinch so we pulled it out and drilled it. Final walkthroughs are a requirement.

This customer had to lock the lobby and needed his doorbells moved to accomodate visitors! Not the prettiest, but accomplishes the job and didn't cost and arm and a leg!

LOW VOLTAGE💪💪💪💪 Arc Flash protection was worn at all times. ⛑
