The garbage truck driver is responsible for operating an automated or semi-automated hoisting device(s) that raises waste bins and dump contents into openings in truck bodies.
The truck driver duties involved are following established routes, through residential streets or alleys or business or industrial areas. Operate equipment that compresses collected waste and operate packing or other material processing equipment. Transport waste and recyclables to our recyclable materials at disposal sites.
Applicants with driving experience is preferred, with experience as disposal and recyclable materials would also be considered an asset, but not necessarily as training would be provided.
The position is locally based out of Charlottetown with routes throughout Prince Edward Island, 7 am – 5 pm 5 days a week. Some evening work may be required in our busier summer months.

Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000 per year.
