🍂 2026 HEATING & HEAT-PUMP REBATE INFORMATION 🍂

Thinking about replacing your furnace, electric heating system or adding a ductless heat pump? Several rebate options are currently available to qualifying B.C. homeowners.

⚡ BC HYDRO HEAT-PUMP REBATES

Homeowners replacing electric baseboards or an electric furnace with an eligible heat pump may qualify for:

• Up to $4,000 for a whole-home heat-pump system
• Up to $1,500 for a partial-home or ductless heat-pump system
• An additional limited-time bonus of up to $1,000

To receive the limited-time bonus, the eligible installation must be completed, invoiced and paid for between August 1 and October 31, 2026. A complete application must be submitted by November 30, 2026.

Bonus funding is limited, available on a first-come, first-served basis and may end without notice.

🏢 CONDO AND APARTMENT HEAT-PUMP REBATES

Qualifying condo and apartment residents replacing electric heating may receive:

• $1,000 for an eligible ductless mini-split heat pump
• $750 per indoor head for an eligible ductless multi-split system, up to three heads

Pre-approval is required before installation. Strata approval may also be required.

🔥 NATURAL-GAS FURNACE REPLACEMENTS

At this time, there does not appear to be a general residential rebate in the Chilliwack area for replacing an existing natural-gas furnace with another gas furnace.

However, replacing an older furnace before it fails can help avoid an unexpected breakdown during cold winter weather. Neels Heating can provide replacement options based on your home, comfort needs and budget.
