A few faces from across our crews 🚧

There are a lot of people behind the work we do and we’re proud of the crews out in the field who help bring each project together.

Work is underway along Highway 3 between Manning Park and Eastgate as our crews continue flood recovery work across several sites.

The project includes rebuilding and protecting embankments, working around drainage channels and waterways, and placing rip rap to help restore and strengthen areas impacted by flooding.

A good look at some of the work taking shape out there.

Here’s a look at the work recently completed at Copper Creek on Highway 3.

The project included repairs to the roadway and retaining wall, slope stabilization and new erosion-control measures below the highway. Crews also reinforced the affected area to help provide a more durable solution moving forward.

A lot of work went into this one, the before-and-after photos give a good look at the changes - from the initial site conditions to the completed work.

𝗔 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗸.

The temporary bridge has now been removed, and traffic is officially travelling over the permanent Highway 3 bridge structure.

This marks one of the final stages of the project, with crews now focused on wrapping up the remaining work through the corridor.

A lot of planning, coordination and hard work went into reaching this point. Great work by everyone involved in getting the new bridge open safely and keeping the project moving toward completion.

Throwback Thursday 🚧

Taking a look back at work on Nicomen Island, where protecting the surrounding environment was just as important as strengthening the d**e itself.

Crews were working through challenging ground conditions and environmental requirements while improving flood protection infrastructure for the area.

The work was careful, measured and very site-specific - all with the bigger picture in mind: protecting the surrounding community and landscape for years to come.

Meet our new addition to the lineup.

Our drain tile machine allows crews to install agricultural drainage more efficiently and with greater accuracy. Properly placed drain tile helps move excess water, improve ground conditions and support stronger crop performance over time.

⛳️ 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀! ⛳️

We had an incredible turnout, perfect weather, fun games, a little friendly competition, and plenty of laughs from the first tee to the final putt.

Whether it was chasing the longest drive, sinking a clutch putt, or taking on one of the many challenges around the course, there was no shortage of memorable moments. And let's just say... one of the water hazards got a little more attention than it usually does. 🛶

A huge congratulations to all of our tournament winners, and thank you to everyone who came out and made another great tournament possible. Days like these are a great reminder of the team and culture we've built together.

There’s often more involved in road rehabilitation than what’s visible once the work is done. 🪨

From earthworks and large riprap placement to culvert installations and roadway reconstruction, this type of work focuses on stabilizing the corridor and rebuilding key components that support long-term use. Projects like this require coordination across multiple crews and disciplines, often in constrained environments.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Work is well underway on the preload on the site of the future South of Fraser Maintenance and Storage Facility.

To date, efforts have focused on ground preparation and improvement across challenging conditions, including peat excavation, preload placement, wick drain installation and ongoing settlement monitoring.

With significant volumes of material moved, crews on site continue to put in a strong effort as work progresses through this phase of the project.
