Nearly 5 lbs weight difference, and that is with the biggest, heaviest battery in this thing. The beams are heavy enough, might as well use the lighter tools.

Here’s a side of that you won’t see from most other attendees. Benefit of being on the Canadian team. We got to attend a blue jays game before heading down to Milwaukee. This fulfilled a dream of childhood. I had the ‘92/‘93 back to back champs poster hanging above my fire engine bunk bed. Now I have seen my first live MLB game! And Toronto Blue Jays beat the Boston Red Sox 5-3.

Big summer blow-out is not what you want when filling forms. In all the years and all the thousands of meters (yards) of concrete we’ve placed, this is the biggest blowout we’ve had. If your forms aren’t built or fastened correctly the mud will humble you.
Opened, cleaned out, re-formed, and placed for a second time in an hour.
Working hard enough to never have a failure large enough to be spotlighted on fullsheets page 😂

Figured for some reason Milwaukee Tool had decided to cap packs at 12ah. Then at they announce the FORGE 15ah in the same form factor and weight!
Paired with the supercharger it will be charged to what the 12ah hold in only 25 minutes. If you’re discharging this pack in that amount of time, cordless isn’t what you should be using. Extended runtime, faster charging; improvements on both side of the equation.

T&G on the low pitch roof (that’s why there’s no glue). Setting sheets using this method ensures they do not get excessive gaps on the sort edge.
And because I know it will get mentioned, there was a structural note for minimum sheathing lap from overhang past the face of wall. Which is why there are “more cuts than there should be”.
But I know, you do it differently.

Strangely I didn’t learn this while working at the cabinet shop. But as a form setter it is still a useful tip. The nails will always curl with the chisel, place the nails so when the curl it’s still within the material (typically this will be the nailer perpendicular to the the edge of material).

I’ve been asked if the M18 FORGE packs are worth it. In short, Yes. And now with 25% increase in capacity with the HD15 the already solid power and runtime will be even further increased. The best part, no size or weight increase. More power, same package.
Who’s interested in learning how they unlocked more power in the same cells between the original High Output packs and the FORGE batteries?

When the carpenter and plumber find themselves in the automotive tent at … shenanigans ensue.
Based on the state of this HHR it would appear the mechanics were mostly participating in shenanigans as well.
