The 2x4’s are in place and today im doing the pailings.
I think it’s perfectly working out!

This fence is in need of a lot of care so I’m rebuilding and revamping. A great bonus to be able to use most of the old fence as well 😊

One chair complete!

I was given these to do as I pleased. I know their thought is they can’t be salvaged.
The previous owner had left them out in weather,the material was stained and the wood had faded.
So stay tuned, because I believe they can be saved to a glorious new look!! 🪑

My winter project!
This was a labour of love. A rescued 100 year old mantel destined for the dump. Brought it home, cleaned it up and got to work.
I built it out from the wall about 6” so as to fit the electric fireplace insert. Then I added tiles (peel and stick) then created more opulence by adding several moldings. A fresh coat of paint and it looks like it’s always belonged!

I love restoring and breathing new life into items that were crafted with love.

Leaking!

I’ve had a leak in my back porch and it needs to be fixed. Not really sure if it’s ice damning or not 🤔

Today I decided to begin ripping down some of the T and G ceilings to see what’s going on.
