A word about MULCH;
Bark mulch is high in organic matter and low in PH. It will compost down and add valuable organic matter to your soil. As well as helping to keep weeds down, mulch can absorb a lot of water while helping to break down clay soil. According to Landscape Ontario, simply adding 2 or 3 inches of natural cedar or bark blend mulch to your soil will boost your soil health and plant longevity.
