Location: 25 Buchanan Street, Cobourg, ON K9A 1Y8 Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Peak Season Saturdays: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Season: Spring–Fall (Winter Layoff)
Position Overview
Pro Tect Asphalt Ltd is hiring a dependable, motivated individual to join our team for the upcoming season. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, maintains a clean and organized environment, and can work independently once fully trained.
Key Responsibilities
• Package small parts and equipment for shipping
• Assemble equipment as required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with general shop duties
• Work independently after full training
Preferred Skills & Requirements
• Forklift experience and valid forklift license required
• Mechanical experience preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently on your own
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full season
What We Offer
• Full time seasonal employment
• Consistent hours: 8–5 Monday to Friday, 8–12 Saturdays during peak season
• Supportive training
• Opportunity to learn equipment assembly and shop operations
• Winter layoff period
