She worked hard all summer and now it is her turn to get some TLC. 🚜

Our L5460 is headed back to Tracks and Wheels for some minor repairs before snow season kicks in. This tractor put in serious work this summer and we are making sure she is dialled in and ready to go before the first storm hits.

This is what preparation looks like behind the scenes. While everyone else is waiting until the first snowfall to figure things out we are already making sure every piece of equipment is ready to perform when it counts.

Snow season is closer than you think. We are not leaving anything to chance.

A little behind the scenes for everyone following along. 🐾

Diesel claimed the residential tractor before anyone else got a chance. Jumped right in for his first time - checked it out, looked around, seemed pretty satisfied with what he saw. Honestly he might be more ready for winter than any of us.

This week I made the solo trip to Timmins to bring our Kubota M7060 commercial tractor home. Fun fact - this is the biggest Kubota unit to ever land at our Timmins dealership. Sitting in that cab for the first time and pulling into Cochrane with it was a moment I will not forget. Let's just say it turned a few heads. Definitely not a small machine. 😄

Back at the desk the four monitors tell the whole story right now. Routes filling up across Cochrane, bookings coming in daily, the Aurora map showing pins dropping across town. Watching it all come together from the office hits different when you know what went into building it. 📍

Our goal this winter is 200 residential driveways. Some areas of town are already getting tight. Once a route fills up in your neighbourhood we may not be able to squeeze your driveway in without affecting your neighbours already on that street.

She made it home. 🚜

After a two hour drive back last evening the new commercial tractor is officially in Cochrane and we can already say without a doubt - we made the right call.

This machine is built for exactly what we need it for. Our commercial accounts this winter are going to be serviced at a level this town has never seen before. Bigger capacity, faster clearing, and the kind of equipment that handles whatever a Cochrane winter decides to throw at it.

It has been a long road to get here. A lot of planning, a lot of work, a lot of early mornings and late nights building this business to the point where a machine like this made sense. Standing next to it last night felt different.

Cochrane - winter is coming. We are more ready than we have ever been.

Our commercial snow removal route for the 2026-2027 season is completely full.

Five years of building this business in Cochrane and we did not expect to be saying that in August. But here we are.

The demand from commercial property owners this season has exceeded everything we projected. Our commercial tractor is booked to capacity and we still have commercial accounts reaching out wanting to be added.

So we are building toward a secondary commercial route for this winter.

Ready or not… Winter is coming! ❄️

We know some of you just cringed… We get it.

Story Time: December 30th, 2025. 7:17 AM. Corner of 19th and 8th Street. 👇

Snow banks so high the tractor barely fit down the road. We are talking snow touching the outer edges of the tires. We sat there for a moment and asked ourselves — how are we getting through this?

We got through it. We always do.

Some of you may say gross. Some stores might still have snow shovels on the shelves. But our customers did not need one that morning.

Our goal again this year is to make sure they will not need one this winter either.

🎉Now for the real announcement. 🎉

$100.00 cash to the first snowmobile that drops by our place when that first snowflake hits this winter. No joke. You show up on a sled — you get paid. We just want to see it happen. 😂

Another shed base in the ground. 🚜

Honestly big things have been happening in Cochrane all summer long and this is just the latest one.

New equipment, new services, new contracts, new crew — it has been that kind of year.

This shed base is going to be home to an expansion of our rental equipment operation. More storage means more equipment available to the community and we cannot wait to share what is coming.

Stay tuned. Photos of the setup and the new equipment are coming soon and Cochrane is going to like what they see.

We are grateful for every single opportunity this summer has brought and for a community that has supported this business every step of the way.

🚛 Dump Run Tomorrow Afternoon

JR Seasonal Services will be running a dump run tomorrow afternoon, and we still have some room available for anyone in the community with a small pile of items that need to be hauled away.

When I started this business it was just me.

No crew. No routes. No system. Just me, a machine, and a town that trusted me to show up when the snow did.

Five winters later that has changed a lot. We have routes mapped across Cochrane. We have commercial contracts with government buildings. We have customers who have been with us since day one and are still booking every year. We have equipment that would have felt like a dream back when this whole thing started.

And this winter we are adding something new.

We need someone to run our sidewalk and doorway operation. You will be pulling our enclosed trailer from account to account, clearing walkways, doorways and sidewalks before the rest of the town wakes up. You are the reason someone walks into work safely on a storm morning. You are the part of the operation that most people never see but every single one of our customers feels.

You will work alongside me and the crew. When the big storms hit you jump in wherever the team needs you. Over time, for the right person, that means getting behind the wheel of one of our tractors too.

In the summer you stay busy with the crew on lawn care, property maintenance and whatever the season brings.

This is not a job posting. This is an invitation to be part of something that is genuinely going somewhere.

$20.00 an hour. Full time. Year round. Cochrane.

We made the drive to Timmins today to go see her in person for the second time and honestly the excitement hasn't worn off one bit.

The Kubota M7060 has landed. She's not fully dressed yet; still waiting on a few final components before everything is bolted on and ready to work, but standing beside that machine today reminded us exactly why we have been putting in the work all year to get here.

This tractor is coming to Cochrane. And when she arrives, our customers are going to feel the difference.

More capacity. Faster service. Built for the winters up here. This is what we have been building toward since day one and we cannot wait to put her to work for every single person who trusted us with their driveway this season.

Winter is coming. We are ready.
