When the lawn is thick, healthy, and ready for stripes… you let the Kubota eat. 🌱🚜

There is something satisfying about a clean cut on thick grass, especially when the stripes start laying down like carpet.

This new Kubota zero turn has already been proving itself, and it is safe to say it can lay down a clean finish. Equipment matters, but so does taking the time to cut it properly.

We have also extended our lawn care route to take on another 20 customers, with 18 spots still available for weekly lawn care this season.

Another investment added to JR Seasonal Services. ✅

We picked up a new Gator Elite 8.5x16 enclosed trailer from Bourque Auto Sales, and this is going to be a big help for the business moving forward.

As we continue adding equipment, rentals, and more services, having the right trailer setup matters. This will help us keep equipment protected, organized, and ready to move from job to job more efficiently.

Little by little, we keep building the operation properly and investing back into the business.

We have been working behind the scenes and the new JR Seasonal Services website is live.

New design. Better platform. And we are just getting started.

Something we are really proud of — live lawn route tracking powered by Aurora. Starting this week, our lawn care customers can see exactly where we are on the route and when we are on our way. No more guessing. No more waiting around wondering when we are showing up.

Small Flower Bed Rebuild 🌱

This was a smaller project we fit in between other jobs, but it was a good one to get cleaned up properly.

The original flower bed had been failing for quite a while. The cedar bush roots had grown past the bed over the years, pushing things out of place and causing the wall to start tipping and falling apart.

We pulled it apart, cleaned the area up, rebuilt it with a proper base, added felt to help prevent weeds from growing up through the ground into the bed, and brought in fresh material to finish it off.

It may be a smaller job compared to some of the larger projects we take on, but these are the kinds of details that make a property easier to maintain and better to look at for years to come.

We also battled through the rain, black flies, and mosquitoes to get this one finished. Northern Ontario landscaping at its finest. 😅🌧️🦟

We can’t wait to see this flower bed filled with flowers and plants soon. 🌸🌿🌼

Week 3: The Summer Workload Is Moving 📆🪏

Some weeks show the growth of the business better than others. 📈

This has been one of those weeks.

We have been moving material, finishing stump grinding jobs, cleaning up properties, adding fresh soil, and keeping our regular lawn schedule moving at the same time.

What used to feel like separate services are starting to work together more and more. One job turns into cleanup. Cleanup turns into soil work. Soil work turns into getting the property ready for the next step.

That is the direction we have been building JR Seasonal Services toward - being able to show up with the right equipment, handle more of the work properly, and keep improving what we can offer our customers.

On top of the summer workload, we are also still quoting snow removal for the upcoming winter season. It may feel early, but this is the time of year where proper planning starts, routes get built, and we make sure we are ready before the first snowfall.

Over 20 weekly lawns serviced this week, more jobs wrapped up, snow quotes going out, and more still on the go.

Busy week, but a good one.✅
