In a country garden

Even though October's about to arrive and the Monarchs have disappeared , theres still plenty to see In Our Country Garden . The English Roses refuse to give up their show. Actually they prefer the cool Autumn weather . Perhaps a little haggard and tattered but nonetheless still a joy to behold especially knowing what lies ahead .Every gardening day is a bonus from now on .

Sad To Say ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN .... When the Monarchs Make Their Presence Known, IN OUR COUNTRY GARDEN Preparing once again for Their Long Journey Southward .
We will enjoy them while we can and hope you will as well .

HERE COMES THE SUN ! ..... Flowers that is and they are oh so beautiful to behold👍. Some times the easiest and cheapest option to add a bit of colour (not to mention benefit the environment as a whole) gets over looked . The Bees in Our Country Garden tend to agree .

Sad To Say that now that July has given way to August the "best of show" regarding the perennial beds is now behind us (for this year) . Next up is the Butterfly Bushes just in time for the fall monarch migration, and of course the annual containers which thrive right up to frost . Enjoy your long weekend.

Sad to Say and even more so to See ...that "The End is Near" for Peony Season this year .... In Our Country Garden . However ! The Good News Is ! that Peony's are a very long living perennial (50 -75 years) , so they will be back ! Year after Year after Year long after we are gone bringing their magic to the early Spring Gardens of the future. We hope that future generations will enjoy them ad much as we have.
