Check out this beautiful sauna built by Tyler from Eco Sauna Creations, with a custom electrical install by our Amp Champs. We asked Tyler to build a cover over the electrical work to keep it safe, but it also makes it an eye-candy sauna. 😉We just love the quality workmanship of Eco Sauna Creations.

Sometimes it is almost unbelievable what we find in our client’s home. The previous owner had disconnected the baseboard heaters and left the live wires mechanically unprotected… These wires should’ve been either disconnected from the panel or terminated in a metal box.

Be safe. Always hire a certified electrician.

This is our latest EV charger install. At times, it can be a bit tricky to find the right location, especially when installed outdoors, without having to over-engineer things. Thoughts to keep in mind:
- Will it need extra mechanical protection (for the day when we mix up the brake pedal with the gas pedal)?
- Will it be accessible even with high snow loads?
- Is it installed on the wall where the snow load comes off the roof?
- Which is the right side so you don’t have to drape the charging cable across the driveway to avoid any damage/trip hazard?

Electrician with ants in his pants? 🤣Not quite, but our Amp Champ electrician Kevin found an ant infestation in these plugs. We are waiting on the exterminator to deal with the colony before we can replace the compromised receptacles. We like ants, just not in the electrical work.
