Meet Tony Mazzone, Parts and Service Manager at Strada Crush!

Tony has been with Strada for an impressive 23 years, starting as a labourer on one of our mobile crushing plants and working his way up to his current management role.

Today, Tony schedules equipment repairs and services, sources parts, leads his team, and supports technicians to keep things running smoothly.

Tony is proud of receiving his 20-year service recognition award and growing into a management role. He values Strada’s ability to offer the resources of a larger company while maintaining the close-knit culture and values of a family-run business.

Fun Fact: Outside of work, Tony enjoys spending time with family, travelling, fishing, and reading.

Staff Spotlight: Lynn Ann Secord-Pouw ✨

Meet Lynn Ann Secord-Pouw, Dispatcher & Scalemaster at Strada Aggregates.

This year, Lynn is celebrating an incredible 25 years with Strada! She began her journey in 2001 at the Hillsburgh Pit and relocated to the Shelburne Pit in 2009, where she continues to be an essential part of the team.

Today, Lynn coordinates customer orders, dispatches trucks, manages deliveries, assists with sales, and keeps pit operations running smoothly.

Lynn is especially proud of coordinating the pit’s 10,000-tonne days and reaching her 25-year milestone. She enjoys being part of Strada’s growth and values the strong team culture that makes the company feel like family—plus, Pizza Fridays don’t hurt!

Fun Fact: Outside of work, Lynn enjoys playing darts and baseball, spending time outdoors in the summer, and relaxing with her husband and boys on the weekends.

Another major infrastructure project is underway in Barrie. Strada is proud to supply 4,000+ tonnes of recycled aggregate, along with limestone products, for the Yonge Street Road Expansion and Transportation Improvements.

Working with Mar-King Construction, our materials are helping support the reconstruction and widening of Yonge Street, along with new storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and watermains.

Staff Spotlight: Adam Mattacchione ✨

Meet Adam Mattacchione, Concrete Recycle Manager at Strada Crush.

With 22 years at Strada, Adam has built an impressive career through hard work and dedication. He started as a labourer at the Creditstone location and has grown into a leadership role overseeing Strada Crush’s operations.

Today, Adam manages crushing projects from start to finish, oversees Strada’s recycling crushing plants, coordinates maintenance, parts procurement, and crusher moves, and ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Adam is proud to have helped upgrade the Creditstone operation to a fully electric crusher while earning the trust of ownership and senior management along the way.

What Adam enjoys most about working at Strada is the company’s strong family-oriented culture and the opportunity to lead Strada Crush’s operations.

Fun Fact: Outside of work, Adam enjoys hunting, snowboarding, working out at the gym, and spending quality time with his family.
