💦✨ Lighting, water, and a little bit of magic.
The newly transformed Leigh Square Fountain in Port Coquitlam has quickly become a vibrant gathering place, and after dark, it really comes to life. 🌈
At the centre of the renewed plaza is a Bellagio-inspired programmable fountain, featuring three interlocking rings where water jets dance through choreographed sequences of movement, music, and colour.
To bring the fountain to life at night, 36 Acclaim Lighting Aqua Drums were integrated directly into the plaza surface. Fully submersible and walk-over rated, these RGBW fixtures were built for the demands of a public, water-forward environment while allowing each fountain sequence to be transformed with vibrant colour and crisp white light. 💡💦
The lighting doesn't compete with the water, it works with it. As the jets rise, fall, and move through each performance, the illumination adds another layer to the experience, making the fountain visible and engaging from across the square.
With individually controllable sections and scheduled shows synchronized to music and lighting, Leigh Square has become more than a public plaza, it’s a place to gather, linger, and experience something a little different each time you visit. 🎶✨
