This full-time role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a team environment. Entry-level workers with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Work may include local projects as well as out-of-town assignments, depending on project requirements.

We welcome applications from youth, Indigenous peoples, newcomers to Canada, persons with disabilities, vulnerable youth, asylum claimants with valid work permits, and individuals from underrepresented communities.

Last June, the Ultimate Shed Giveaway raised over $60,000 which funded the replacement of microscopes for the laboratory. These essential tools are used to examine cells present in various samples, supporting the diagnosis of a wide range of conditions, including infections, inflammatory diseases, cancer, and more.

The team behind the Ultimate Shed recently went on a tour led by Dr. Heidi Paulin, Diagnostic and Clinical Pathologist and Department Head of the QEH Provincial Laboratory, to see first-hand the medical equipment that this beloved fundraiser has helped make possible.

And we're thrilled to share that the team has been hard at work once again on a brand new Ultimate Shed: Linden Hollow 🌼 Tickets go on sale starting Monday, June 1st.
