🚛 We're Hiring: Service Manager – Truck Shop 🚛
Cornwall Gravel Company Limited is looking for a hands-on, organized leader to run the day-to-day of our Truck Shop!
📍 Cornwall, ON (on-site) — local candidates preferred
💰 $27.00–$30.00/hour, based on experience
🕐 Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
In this role, you'll oversee 4 service bays and our team of mechanics/apprentices — managing workflow and scheduling, opening and closing work orders, coordinating parts and inventory, and keeping licensing/compliance (CVOR, DriveON inspections, emissions testing, permits) on track.
We're looking for someone with:
✅ Experience in service operations, shop management, or service advising
✅ Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
✅ Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced shop
✅ Financial awareness (labor, parts, cost control)
Mechanical knowledge of large trucks and equipment (tractors, tri-axles, live bottoms, belly dumps, and more) is a big asset — but experience from other equipment industries is welcome too!
