Proud to announce the completion of another successful project!

Welcome to the new residents of The Hive, a private residence located in the heart of Queen's University campus in Kingston. The building features 45 residential units with a total of 120 bedrooms, including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and four-bedroom layouts. Additional features include a ground-floor library and quiet study room, rooftop amenity space and green roof, 16 parking spaces, and 28 bicycle parking spaces.

That's a wrap on our 50th Anniversary celebrations! 🎊

We had a wonderful time celebrating with colleagues, family and old friends. A 1000 Islands Boat cruise for our team and their spouses, a BBQ for the 'old boys' who got us going and an 80th birthday celebration for our founder Dick Markell, and a golf tournament for industry partners and friends who we value daily.

Great weather, great company, and great memories made. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

A great day on the green! ⛳

Yesterday, we hosted our 50th Anniversary Golf Tournament, celebrating alongside our valued subcontractors who have been an important part of our journey over the years.

The rain cleared up just in time for us to enjoy all 18 holes, making for a great day of golf, friendly competition, and celebration.

What a wonderful evening at the Spurs and Sparkles fundraiser in support of the Queensway Carleton Hospital and Foundation. Congratulations to the Foundation on raising an incredible $250,000 for such an important cause.

From the live auctions to the exciting Get Up and Gallop relay race, the event was filled with energy, community spirit, and meaningful connections. Bourgon Construction was proud to sponsor the "Thirst Responder" Welcome Drink and to be part of this one-of-a-kind celebration.

Rideau Heights Community Centre & Library.

The project involved the construction of a new 25,000 sq. ft. LEED®-designed addition to Rideau Heights Public School, featuring a library, teen and adult gathering halls, a community kitchen and a full gymnasium.

This project was Bourgon’s first in Kingston following the opening of our office there in 2016!

Meet Joe Ryan, Bourgon's Regional Manager in Kingston. Joe's role includes project procurement, planning, estimating, staffing, and more across the Kingston region. A certified Red Seal Carpenter and holder of a Master of Business Administration degree from Queen's University, he brings a unique perspective of hands-on-construction experience and strategic leadership to every project.

Outside the office and job site, Joe enjoys coaching his kids' sports teams, spending time outdoors, and camping with his family.

✨50th Anniversary Milestone ✨

For our first 50th Anniversary milestone, it’s only fitting that we look back at Robert J. Bourgon & Associates Ltd.’s very first project.

This 72-unit senior citizens' apartment building in Cornwall was constructed with wood framing, concrete block walls, brick veneer, balconies, and a shingle roof. It also became home to our first official office, operating out of one of the building's units.
