Stakeholder Notification: Hartley Creek Clean out

Hartley Creek Clean-out will begin on Monday Aug 17, and continue until Aug 21, from 7:00am - 5:30pm. 15 minute delays are expected with intermittent single lane alternating traffic during those hours.

Stakeholder Notificiation: Major Construction South of Radium

Mainroad East Kootenay, in partnership with the Ministry of Transportation and Transit, will be conducting major construction work on Highway 93/95 just south of Radium. Construction is scheduled to begin on August 10, 2026, and is expected to continue until October 15, 2026.

During this period, road users should expect brief delays and single-lane alternating traffic. Please follow all posted detours and construction signage.

Stakeholder Notification: Hwy 95A at Wycliffe Junction Closed

Hwy 95A at Wycliffe Junction is closed due to MVI. Detour in place. Southbound traffic is being detoured via Wycliffe Park Rd and Northbound is being detoured via Mission Wycliffe back onto 95A.

Hwy 93/95 Fort Steele to Wasa closed, and the Hwy from Skookumchuck Pulp Mill to Kimberley is also closed. Both closed due to Wildfires.
