Recently, we updated the blocking underneath this home by removing old railway ties and beams that had begun sinking into the ground and rotting.
We replaced them with new pads and cinder-block supports and installed a vapour barrier to create a cleaner, more stable foundation.
This work not only provides solid support for the homeowners’ future renovations, but also creates a clean and accessible crawlspace for plumbers, electricians, and other trades to complete their work more safely and efficiently.
