Dawson City is basically a living, open-air museum ☁️ With preserved gold rush buildings planted on unpaved roads and costumed storytellers strolling down wooden boardwalks, it's easy to be swept up in the Klondike's immersive magic ✨
Unlike many open-air museums, this special place isn't just for show. A community through and through, it continues to bustle and thrive in the colder months with locals lovingly breathing life into their little town.
We're so lucky to have such amazing Parks Canada, Yukon interpreters to usher us through the Klondike's colourful histories. If you're hoping to go on a guided walking tour of Dawson City before the end of the season, mosey on down to the Visitor Information Centre on Front Street! Regular tours are scheduled until September 8th and limited tours continue until September 19th 🦫
