Hickory Homes was founded in 2007 in Dawson Creek, BC, and was built on hands on experience in custom construction and renovations across northern British Columbia. From the beginning, our focus has been on durable, energy efficient building methods designed for northern climates, including ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) foundations and structures.

Over the years, our work expanded throughout Fort Nelson, Tetsa River, Toad River, and back to Dawson Creek, where we’ve completed a wide range of projects including custom homes, duplexes, fourplexes, and large-scale residential builds. This includes ICF, SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) homes, off grid custom homes, and fully designed and built energy-efficient residences tailored to each client’s needs.

We also take on major renovation projects, including purchasing and restoring homes others have passed on, redesigning and rebuilding them into functional, modern living spaces. Our experience includes both residential and commercial construction, as well as commercial renovations and building upgrades.

In addition to construction, we offer custom home design services, helping clients take a project from concept through to build ready plans. This allows for practical, efficient designs that align with real world construction and long term performance.

Today, Hickory Homes is focused on custom home opportunities, commercial building projects, and large renovation work, continuing a long history of building practical, efficient, and lasting structures in northern BC.
