✨Project Spotlight | Abbotsford Middle School Addition✨

We are proud to spotlight another successful completed project - a new two-storey classroom addition for the Abbotsford School District.

Completed earlier this year, the addition features eight new learning spaces and supporting facilities. This project is a great example what can be achieved through strong collaboration, careful planning, and shared commitment to quality delivery. The project team achieved substantial completion in just 8 months and 8 days!

The final project cost came in approximately $1.3 million under budget, inclusive of additional Owner-requested work.

A big congratulations to the Unitech project team, trades, and consultants! 👏 Most importantly, we're grateful for the continued partnership with the Abbotsford School District and we look forward to working together for years to come.

We were proud to once again support the Unitech Super-Soaker Slide zone at the City of Abbotsford's Canada Day Festival and help bring our community together to celebrate our great country.

Unitech was pleased to be a sponsor of the Southern Interior Construction Association (SICA) Golf Tournament last Thursday, June 5, 2026.

Several of our team members have participated in this great industry event, which was an excellent opportunity to connect with industry partners, strengthen relationships, and support the valuable work that SICA does for the construction industry in BC.

🏃🏃‍♀️ Over the weekend, Sunday, June 7, the Unitech team proudly participated the RBC Race for the Kids event in support of the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.

A special thank you to our Unitech team members and their family who laced up their running shoes, dedicated their time and participated in this meaningful event. Your enthusiasm and commitment helped make this fundraiser such a success.

With a team goal to fundraise $1,500, we are incredibly grateful of our colleagues, friends, family members, industry partners who donated, cheered them on and supported their efforts. Our Unitech team was able to raised an amazing $3,588 to help support children's health and specialized care across BC!

Thank you for helping our team go the distance for kids! 💙

Proud to celebrate the completion of the Caledonia Affordable Housing Project 🎉

From proposal in March 2020—right at the start of the pandemic—to construction beginning in March 2022 and completion in December 2025, this project is a true testament to resilience and teamwork.

Located in Victoria’s Fernwood neighbourhood, the development delivers 158 affordable homes across a five-building complex on 2.15 acres, including apartments and townhomes designed for families, seniors, and individuals with diverse accessibility needs. The project features 1,450 m² of amenity space, a total of 12,360 m² gross floor area, and a parkade with 112 vehicle stalls and 194 bicycle spaces, supporting both community living and sustainable transportation.

Delivered in partnership with Capital Region Housing Corporation and BC Housing through the Community Housing Fund, this project represents a meaningful step forward in building inclusive communities.

Congratulations to the Caledonia project team for delivering such a successful project! 👏 We also extend our sincere thanks to our client for trusting Unitech to help enhance the Victoria community for its residents.
