We are seeking an experienced site supervisor for long-term employment who will meet the following requirements:
- Willing to work based out of our Delta BC office with travel throughout the lower mainland, Vancouver Island, and South Cariboo regions as required.
- Red Seal Carpenter or equivalent, with proven experience including formwork, framing, and custom finishing in the lower mainland construction field.
- A Residential Builder’s License is considered an asset
- Construction Management Formal Education/Certification is considered an asset
- Experience running single and multi-family sites/projects from pre-planning to completion.
- Management skills including the ability to plan ahead with site work, labour, and materials
- Organized and capable of maintaining records of communication and standard paperwork from the jobsite
- Basic computer skills required, and experience using Microsoft 365 and/or Buildertrend would be considered an asset.
- Able to instruct and train apprentices and junior staff positively and productively.
- Proven ability to work well as part of a team and alongside a variety of sub-trades
- Strong ability to read, understand, and work from relevant technical drawings
- Have your own basic tools and reliable mode of transportation
- Strong record of reliability, quality craftsmanship, and a strong work ethic
