Designed to exceed BC Step Code 4, these ~1,700 sq. ft. homes outperform code by approximately 40%, combining triple-glazed EuroLine windows and doors with insulation levels up to 300% above minimum requirements.

A West Kelowna home overlooking Okanagan Lake, rebuilt after the wildfires that impacted the region in recent years. Built by SJT Contracting, the project features EuroLine tilt-and-turn windows and lift-and-slide doors, selected to support comfort, durability, and long-term performance in a demanding climate. The home also incorporates solar panels as part of a broader, energy-conscious approach to rebuilding.

EuroLine recently visited the newly expanded Spearhead facility in Nelson, BC — and it was a powerful reminder that some of the most innovative building-material work in the world is happening right here in our province.

For 35 years, Spearhead has grown from a small B.C. operation into a global leader in furniture-quality timber manufacturing, combining digital fabrication, craftsmanship, and architectural precision in a way that truly stands out. Nelson may be small, but the work coming out of this facility is anything but.

Not a partnership (for now!), but absolutely an inspiring visit. Big thanks to Ken for the VIP tour.

Where High Performance Meets Urgent Housing Needs

Ontario faces a serious housing challenge — tens of thousands of households are on waitlists for affordable rental units. 1620 Main St. E. addresses that gap, delivering 42 deeply affordable, all-electric homes designed for energy efficiency, comfort, and durability.

Achieving an airtightness of 0.12 ACH50, it far exceeds Passive House Canada standards. High-performance EuroLine windows were a key part of this success, helping create a building that’s sustainable, comfortable, and cost-effective to operate.

This project demonstrates what’s possible when design, engineering, and construction expertise converge with a community-focused vision, offering a replicable model for high-performance, affordable housing in Ontario and beyond.

Precision-Engineered Performance.

High-performance windows demand high-performance glass. That’s why we recently visited PFG Glass Industries Ltd.— EuroLine’s trusted glass supplier and a leading Canadian fabricator of architectural glass, to get a closer look at the insulated glass units (IGUs) that help define our thermal efficiency, acoustic comfort, and long-term durability.

PFG’s Langley facility operates some of the most advanced IGU production line equipment in the industry. Their LiSEC system, engineered in Austria, automates the entire process: washing the glass, applying warm-edge spacers, filling with argon or krypton gas, and sealing the unit with precision. For larger or custom IGUs, their FOREL line steps in—offering flexibility and consistency for complex builds.

These systems aren’t just impressive—they’re essential. Automation like this ensures consistent quality, strong seal integrity, and long-term performance, all of which are critical for modern building envelopes and high-performance fenestration systems.
