On a house, we’re mostly working around one family and one schedule. On a commercial build or reno, we’re working around a general contractor, a framing crew, an inspection window and an opening date somebody has already advertised. 👷

That last one is the pressure. When a business tells its customers it opens on the 15th, the electrical can’t be the reason it opens on the 22nd. ⚡️

So we plan backwards. Rough-in gets scheduled around when the walls close. Panel and service work gets confirmed with the utility early, because that’s the piece that holds everything up if you leave it late. And we keep the GC in the loop rather than waiting to be asked. 🤝

We did a full commercial reno on Champlain Street in Moncton not long ago, working nights so the space could be turned over on time. Late finishes, tired crew, but it opened when it was supposed to.

New builds, tenant fit-ups, retail renos, service upgrades, heat pumps, solar, multi-unit….we do all of it across New Brunswick, and we’re on the bid list for more of it every month. 📝 We take pride in every single project.

One of the questions we hear often is:

“Does it even work up here?”

Fair question. New Brunswick isn’t Arizona. But panels don’t run on heat, they run on light and they actually produce more efficiently in the cold. A clear February afternoon with snow on the ground reflecting light back up is a better day for a panel than a hazy 30° one in July.

The real conversation isn’t about sunshine. It’s about three things:

EV chargers in your lot are turning into an amenity people notice. 👀
