DRYWALL + PLASTER
Our client shared some inspiration pictures of arches and asked if we could build them into the design. These custom arches have created an elegant feel to home and they’ve completely changed the entire interior design. We love them, such a great detail. Beautiful.

INSULATION
An enormous amount of planning and work is complete behind the drywall, that’s why it’s always a great day when the insulation truck arrives. It’s a milestone in the project and brings a shift in the phase of the project. Time to close the walls💪🏼👊🏼🤟🏼

PLUMBING
This project required a huge amount of plumbing upgrades. We found old cast iron drains cracked, clogged, undersized, and not properly protected. Over the last few weeks we have removed and replaced tonnes of lines.

FRAMING
** We are so far behind on posting pictures. This project is now complete and this work was completed in May. **

We built new interior perimeter and division walls ready to receive new plumbing, electrical and hvac. The new walls start to show the vision of the new layout and the huge open space our customer has designed for their home.

STRUCTURAL FRAMING
Removing the temporary structural posts is always a fun day. We get the first look at how our efforts and work are transforming this main floor into a beautiful open concept home.

STRUCTURAL FRAMING
We’ve been working on framing and structural modifications to this Dorval home. Our client wanted to open up the main floor so we’ve removed a load bearing wall and installed an 18ft LVL beam. This modification required additional structural strengthening in the basement to ensure the interior loads were transferred correctly. Collaborating with our structural engineer, we always find a solution.

SUBFLOORS
We installed new plywood subfloors to provide a level surface for the new engineered wood flooring to be installed. Next step is the structural modifications that is going to open this main floor area.

SUBFLOORS
After completing demo we identified a few areas in the floors that required some additional levelling before reinstalling the plywood subfloors. Proper floor preparation is essential for any successful flooring installation. That’s why we use self-levelling products on many of our wood subfloor projects.
